ちょっと前の記事ですが
ノキアが1-3月期決算をリリースしたが、
結果は営業収益が９０％減と芳しく悪いかった。

Nokia, the world's biggest cellphone manufacturer, recorded its worst quarterly results in more than a decade Thursday on the back of plunging handset sales and a 96 percent drop in operating profits.
世界全体の経済環境が
急激に変化した結果、携帯電話産業にも
大きく影響しており、他の業界でも
収益を大きく減らしている。
In a statement, Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo hailed the company's performance in an "exceptionally tough environment" and said the situation was becoming "more predictable" for the second quarter.
CEOのコメントにもあるように
厳しい経済環境だが、予想範囲がわかるように
なってきていると指摘。
つまり、今後の売り上げ環境が
予測できる状態に戻りつつあるとの事。
現在ロンドンに赴任していいるが、彼も
「かなり厳しい環境」と話していた。
ただ、予想ができる状況になっただけでも
ちょっとはよくなっているのだろーなと
思う今日このごろ。
